There are ample art-driven applications for mobile phones, tablets, and desktops. Several tools are available in sketch apps, painting apps, art apps, and drawing apps dedicated to mimicking hand drawing and image manipulation. The powerful drawing tools come with features like the ability to create raster or vector images, special effects, and 3D modeling. The super tools or drawing apps are the go-to solutions for tech-savvy artists who want to reap digitalization benefits. However, we live in an era of digital gadgets and applications that have made artists opt for one instead of paper, pen, and paint. This art can showcase the deepest desire or a story in a remarkable way that needs an eye for detail to understand. Canvas size & dpi can be set in Medibang Paint. When an artist gets down to bring their imagination onto a paper, it takes the form of art. Medibang Paint is also a nice app but also only exports as png & jpeg. Sketchbook is similar to use as Adobe Draw but can only save/export as png & jpeg. Export as SVG by sending direct to One Drive or similar app to continue editing on computer. One confusing thing is using the device back arrow to return to the home pages to choose a new canvas for a new drawing. The basic version is loaded with features but it is a big learning curve & I suggest seeking out a tutorial. Ivy Draw is free but you will need to pay a small fee to unlock SVG export (and other features - each paid for individually). You can share the SVG file direct to One Drive or similar apps for transfer to your computer to continue editing with Affinity Design etc.

Couldn't find how to set canvas size or dpi but this can be dealt with in a vector design program on your computer.

Seems OK to use - can get some nice painterly effects easily. Has a little bit of a learning curve but not too bad. The 'export as SVG' exports to the device but easy enough to move the file to One Drive or similar for opening in Affinity Design or other vector design program (Illustrator if you still use it). Easy to use - can set canvas size but not dpi (easy to sort out when transferred to computer vector design program if needing to eventually save as png or jpeg). I quite like Infinite Design - free to download but you need to pay a small one off fee to upgrade to 'Get Everything' to be able to export as SVG. I have checked out quite a few now & top of my list are Infinite Design, Painter SVG & Ivy Draw. There is also Ivy Draw though it is more complicated to use. I will be using Infinite Design or PainterSVG. It looks good if you want to save as PNG but I couldn't see an SVG option. I looked for IblisPaint X - couldn't find it - only IbisPaint X - a bit more searching & found they are the same thing.
